05:58 · Your morning briefing is ready
For founders and sellers going after big accounts. Never sends without your say‑so. Never acts on LinkedIn for you.
Not a mass-email tool. A few researched emails a day, each with its source.
“Morning. Emma Clarke replied overnight, and Kestrel goes first today.”
Morning. Emma Clarke replied overnight to your email about the electric vans. She wants to know how the service price stays fixed. I have stopped everything else that was going to her, so the answer is yours to write. Kestrel goes first today. They ordered four hundred electric vans in May, and nobody there has fixed the cost of servicing them yet. Tom Ashby runs their fleet. Your email to him is written and waiting for your yes. There is one more, to Priya at Brightwater. She started in March, which is why now is a good time. That is all. Emma first.
An example morning briefing. The people and companies are made up, and the voice and moving face are made by a computer. With the talking face on, I say people’s jobs out loud rather than their names; the names stay on your screen.
Where you already work
Ask what is waiting today, read my emails and tell me to send, without opening Legwork. Nothing goes until you say so.
YouWhat is waiting for me today?
SamEmma Clarke at Kestrel replied overnight, so nothing else goes to her until you answer. And one email is waiting: to Tom Ashby, who runs Kestrel’s fleet, about servicing their 400 new electric vans. If you say send, it goes Tuesday, 08:00 London time.
YouShow me the email to Tom.
SamSubject: 400 electric vans, and who services them. “Hi Tom, Kestrel announced in May that it has ordered 400 electric vans…”
YouSend it.
SamBooked for Tuesday, 08:00 London time (09:00 for you). You can undo it in Legwork until then.
An example. The people and companies are made up. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot are trademarks of their owners; Legwork is not affiliated with them.
What you wake up to
Every fact Sam uses shows where it came from. You read each email, change it if you like, and press Send. It goes from your own mailbox, at the time shown.

400 electric vans, and who services them
Hi Tom,
Kestrel announced in May that it has ordered 400 electric vans.
We fix the service price of each van for up to five years, so the cost of every van is known from the day it arrives.
Northgale Logistics moved 250 vans to a fixed service price with us last year.
Would it be useful if I sent you how Northgale set it up?
Kind regards,
James
The fact: Kestrel ordered 400 electric vans. Source: Kestrel’s press release in May.
The proof point: Northgale Logistics, from your claims in Train Sam.
Goes Tuesday, 08:00 London time (09:00 for you). Based in the UK, confirmed from Kestrel’s own site.

The talking face is made by Simli, who may keep the recording to improve their service. Choose “just voice” if you’d rather not. With the face on, I never say people’s names out loud: I say their job and company.

Yes. Connect Legwork once, then ask what is waiting today, read your emails and tell me to send, from the assistant you already use. Claude: any Claude plan. ChatGPT: a paid ChatGPT plan. Copilot: at work, once your IT team switches it on. Gemini: at work, once your IT team switches it on. Nothing is sent until you say so.
No. Legwork works on its own.
I never send anything without your yes. I write the emails, and each one goes only when you say yes to it: from your own Gmail, at the time you agreed, with time to undo. With Outlook, I open each email in Outlook for you to send. Nothing is ever sent on LinkedIn.
I never act on LinkedIn for you: I never log in, connect or message anyone there, and I never use it as a source of facts. Where I find somebody’s public profile, I show it as a link for you to open. I can also write you a short LinkedIn note, which you copy and send yourself. Research comes from what companies and people publish elsewhere, and every fact says where it came from.
No. Your morning briefings, your notes and your numbers are yours. A manager sees only what you choose to send them. There is no manager view of your work, and nothing in the product shows it to them.
I am built not to. Everything I write about you comes from what you gave me: your website, your documents and your own words. I may only use the claims listed in Train Sam. If your material does not support a claim, I leave it out. You can see the source next to every claim, and change any of it.
Only what you have told me. I use the positioning you write, for example who else a buyer considers and what doing nothing costs them. I will not invent a fact about a competitor or repeat something I only partly remember. Getting a rival’s pricing wrong in an email is the sort of thing that ends a conversation, so I write about your side of the comparison and leave theirs to you.
I say so and score it in the middle, rather than guessing. A confident score I cannot back up would cost you a morning, so an honest "I do not know this one, it needs a look" is the answer you get.
It depends where you add them. Documents you add while setting me up: I keep the words and discard the file. Files you send me in a conversation are kept, so either of us can open them again. They are stored in the European Union, and you can ask for them to be deleted at any time.
Yes. Add a picture of a slide, a pricing table, or a page that will not load properly, and I write out what I can see, then work from that. If part of it is too small or unclear to read, I say so instead of guessing. The picture is handled like any other file.
We never train a model on it, and nor do the services that write and research for you (Anthropic and OpenAI). One exception: if you choose my talking face, it is made by Simli, who may keep the recording to improve their service. I never say anybody’s name in what goes to Simli. Choose “just voice” and nothing goes to Simli. The privacy page lists every service and what each may do.
Yes. Write to hello@uselegwork.io and we will send you everything we hold about you and your accounts, in one file. A button to do it yourself is being built.
Write to hello@uselegwork.io and we delete everything we hold about you and your accounts. When paid plans open, your data will be deleted 30 days after you cancel, so an account closed by mistake can still be recovered.
In the European Union. Your account, your accounts and contacts, your drafts and morning briefings are held in Frankfurt, Germany, and files you upload and our nightly backups are kept in the EU too. To do the work, I send the text of each job to the AI and voice services listed on our privacy page, and some of those are in the United States.
About ten minutes. Add your website, add anything else worth reading, and check what I understood. It does not need to be perfect. You can change every word later, and I will read everything again whenever you ask.
Some sites build their pages in the browser, so there is nothing for me to read in the page itself. I will tell you that this happened. I will not pretend your site is empty. Upload a document or write a few sentences in your own words instead. Both work as well, and often better.
